Course Description
Our Xpress Pronunciation course combines Makharij al-Huroof (articulation of letters) with speech therapy techniques designed for learning unfamiliar and difficult sounds. The course starts by training your mouth, tongue, lips, and throat in the new movements required to pronounce Quranic letters accurately. Each lesson covers a different set of letters, with the hardest ones revised in later weeks once your ability has improved. This process is underpinned by our MEEM framework: a Quran-specific methodology inspired by speech therapy that uses a multisensory approach to help you master sounds through listening, visuals, and physical feeling.
While there is no magic formula for learning pronunciation and progress varies from person to person, the average student will be able to pronounce almost all individual letters correctly by the end of the course, though complex words and letter combinations may still take time. The course will also cover learning Surah al-Fatiha with accurate pronunciation, a necessary part of ensuring your daily Salah is correct.
