Entry Requirements

  • Consistently read the letters and signs on the page correctly with minimal or no mistakes.

  • Consistently stretch long vowels for two counts and keep short vowels to one count.

  • Recite relatively fluency without it requiring full focus (some hesitation or pausing may be expected).

  • Pronounce most letters correctly.

  • Consistently apply all rules of nasal stretches and madd (including rules of noon sukoon and tanween).

  • Be able to copy the tune from a clip of a professional reciter (even if it requires some support and guidance).
